Jon Herdlein

Jon is a principal with over 20 years of experience in public accounting. His experience includes a full range of accounting, tax, and consulting services to a variety of small to medium sized businesses. In addition, he has extensive experience in individual taxation matters. Jon has developed a proficiency in handling tax matters for flow-through entities such as S corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies, and coordinates the tax planning and compliance services needed for both the entity and the related individual owners. His experience in working with closely held businesses include companies within the manufacturing, service, distribution and real estate industries. Jon has extensive experience in financial reporting issues faced by small to medium sized businesses. Previously Jon supervised and managed some of the firm’s largest audit engagements, and has specialized expertise performing audits of consolidated financial statements for clients with international operations. Jon joined the Firm in September 1995. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York College at Fredonia, and a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton.

Daniel Koscielny

Daniel Koscielny is a partner at Bonadio & Co., LLP, at the firm’s Amherst Corporate Parkway office and holds over 30 years of experience in tax accounting services. Dan is a certified public accountant and is Accredited in Business Valuations (ABV) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also holds the Certified Valuation Analyst credential conferred upon by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). Dan has provided financial, tax, consulting, and management advisory services for family-owned businesses which range in size from less than $1 million to over $50 million in annual revenue. His business clients operate in multiple industries including: manufacturing, construction, retail, and professional services firms. Dan has performed business valuations on a regular basis for 20 years. He has conducted a variety of seminars on business valuation approaches, case law, relevant updates, marital discussions, business purchases and sales, for several law firms and commercial lending groups. Industries for which business valuations have been performed include manufacturing, construction, distribution, retail, real estate, and professional services firms. Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA). He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo.
